Israelis treat people from Tel Aviv as living in a bubble, that’s fine with me.
However I would prefer to disconnect completely and live on a ship as a floating island, leaving behind the politics, religion and pollution. Separating the “State of Tel Aviv” from two cultural-geographical spaces in which it exists and operates – the Middle East and the peripheral Israeli space, on top of a ship / truck like Noah’s ark in an escapist act. Israel is located on the African Rift so who knows…
as for now the perfect gate away is Ben-Gurion Airport.
